Training Services

  • Strength & Resistance Training

Strength & resistance training can include any number of things. We can mix & match modalities (weights, MAXPRO cable machine, TRX, etc) to maximize our training sessions depending on your goals, activity preferences, and preferred method of training. Common focus sessions include:

    General muscle development

    Endurance and/or power

    Maintenance & longevity

    Weight loss & management

Let’s talk about your goals and fitness aspirations so we can come up with the best plan to work for you.

  • Mobility & Flexibility

Having trouble reaching behind your back? Want to maximize your overhead press? Do you have aspirations of getting splits? Flexibility and mobility training can be an overlooked part of any workout program but is crucial for having a functional body for the long run. Common focus sessions include:

    Strength/functional training mobility

    Body maintenance & longevity

    Deep stretch for maximal flexibility

    Sport/activity specific ROM
(dance, climbing, lifting, pole or circus, etc)

Mobility and flexibility work are some of my favorite topics to coach. No matter what your goals or desired focus, we can develop a plan to get your where you want to be safely and progressively.

  • Handstands & Inversions

Interested in starting a handstand journey but not sure where to start? Do you have some ability to kick up against a wall, but not sure where to go next? I’ve got options:

Building confidence upside down & on hands
    (beginning or limited experiences)

    Some experience
(can kick up w/ or w/o a wall and hold for some time)

    Expanding shapes
    (levers, forearms, hybrids, etc)

While I will not be able to help with one-arm handbalancing aspirations (that is just outside my area of expertise), I can start you on your handstand journey, adjust your current alignement, or work with your current skill level. Talk to me about your goals and let’s see where we can go!

  • Combo Sessions

Mix and match your training focus to work on getting to your goals in a targeted and concise block of time. Combo sessions are most useful for combining to following:

    Strength + Flexibility/Mobility

    Flexibility + Handstands

    Mobility + Balance

Got something else in mind? Let me know and let’s talk through your plan. Combo sessions are recommended to be at least 60-90min long depending on the focus.

Coaching Credentials & CV

About Elena Sherman

Elena Sherman’s humble beginnings with fitness began in middle school through “competitive” swimming (with quotes as she just liked being in the water, racing wasn’t the important part at first). It wasn’t until her senior year of high school that she really began to take her fitness goals seriously and started branching out & expanding into other avenues.

As a professional within the fitness industry, Elena has held many different roles. She has worked full-time as a fitness wearables User Experience Designer (Garmin: 2011-2015) and large fitness equipment User Interface Designer (Nautilus/BowFlex: 2015-2017). She was a circus/aerial coach and performer (2012-2024; see more under the “CIRCUS” page). She has participated in sprint triathlons, running events (5k-10k), and road cycling races (10-40mi). Most recently she has become a TRX PRO coach (2025), a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)(2025), and a BODYBAR Pilates instructor (2026).

Through it all, Elena’s passion has always been to move - she loves being active and learning as much as she can about encouraging other people to feel comfortable moving as well. Her coaching style is very much a blending of her different backgrounds, all leading her to become the best version of the coach that she is today - ready to move and ready to get you moving too, no matter where you are starting or coming from!
